Mr. Azogui has served as a partner and CEO of Brack Capital Real Estate USA and is a co-founder of AORE Holdings. BCRE is a premier global real estate development company with locations in New York, London, Tel Aviv, Madrid, Miami, Budapest, Rome, New Delhi, and Amsterdam. Mr. Azogui’s tenure as the CEO of BCRE USA for more than a decade has created a track record comprising more than $3 billion in real estate transactions. In his role as the co-founder of AORE Holdings, he is responsible for the development of 3 luxury residential properties in Manhattan: Windermere, 53 Greene, and 24 Second Avenue.
Mr. Azogui has successfully managed multi-billion dollar investment portfolios and has developed more than 3 million square feet of Manhattan office and retail space, as well as 3,000 multifamily units, primarily in Manhattan. As a 50% owner of SHP, Mr. Azogui brings decades of experience and proven performance.
Mr. Azogui holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University and a BA in Economics and Computer Science from Be’er Shiva University.
During his 23 year real estate career, Steven Ludwig has demonstrated significant experience in real estate acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, development, property management and capital sourcing for both public and private companies. Since moving into the investment space and founding Coastline Capital Partners in 2002, Mr. Ludwig has purchased over 60 real estate assets totaling more than 3,000 multifamily units worth an aggregate of $800 million.
In 2008, Mr. Ludwig moved into property and construction management, co-founding Coastline Real Estate Advisors and Turnaround Solutions to actively manage its real estate portfolio on a fee-basis. To date, CREA has managed more than 7,000 residential units with a combined asset value in excess of $1 billion. Mr. Ludwig has acquired, syndicated, and developed more than $800 million of real estate assets.
Mr. Ludwig began his career as a Financial Analyst for Prudential Securities in the Real Estate Investment Banking division and then worked for Thomas Barrack at Colony Capital, a premiere international real estate investment firm. At Colony Capital, Mr. Ludwig’s focus was sourcing and underwriting new property acquisitions as well as asset management for a variety of asset classes.
Mr. Ludwig received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with concentrations in finance and marketing from The Roberto C. Goizueta Business School at Emory University.

Eric Freedman has been responsible for the acquisition, syndication, and operation of over $800 million of real estate assets since in 2002. Along with Steven Ludwig, he co-founded Coastline Capital Partners, as well as investment vehicles NextGen Apartments and Coastline Apartment Investors. In 2008, he moved into property and construction management, co-founding Coastline Real Estate Advisors, SHP’s property management affiliate, and Turnaround Solutions, SHP’s renovation affiliate.
Beginning his career in the Transaction Advisory Services Group at Arthur Andersen, Mr. Freedman performed financial and operational due diligence in multiple industries including manufacturing, retail, entertainment, online services, and healthcare. Mr. Freedman has worked with clients at the highest level of these industries, including Vivendi/Universal, News Corp, The Carlyle Group, Barclays Capital, and Diesel.
A member of the Board of Directors at his alma mater, the Roberto C. Goizueta Business School at Emory University, Mr. Freedman also completed the Executive Program at the Anderson School of Business at UCLA and served on the Board of Trustees for the Brentwood School located in Los Angeles, California.
James Killian’s areas of expertise encompass all facets of Coastline Real Estate Advisor’s (CREA) portfolio, including acquisition, syndication, renovation, asset management, and property management of Coastline’s multi-family investments. After joining CREA in 2008, Mr. Killian went on to co-found NextGen Apartments, LLC and Coastline Apartment Investors, LLC. Through these entities, Mr. Killian capitalized on his extensive contacts for acquisition and his market knowledge to reposition desirable, undervalued, and underutilized multi-family communities throughout Southern California.
Mr. Killian has been an invaluable resource in the design of CREA’s operational architecture and strategies. He specializes in the complexities of repositioning the communities in CREA’s portfolio, adding value through management and asset optimization.
A graduate of the University of Southern California, Mr. Killian received a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy and Development with concentrations in Urban Planning and Real Estate Development. Mr. Killian was the captain of the USC Men’s Volleyball team and a standout member of the U.S. National Team.

A co-founder of Coastline Capital Partners and NextGen Apartments, Jerry Baker has a distinguished career spanning over four decades. Mr. Baker has owned and managed commercial properties for more than 35 years, and is currently the President and major shareholder of CBS Development Corporation, which is currently involved in developing approximately 1,000 acres of residential real estate throughout Central California.
In the past two years, Mr. Baker has been involved in acquiring and developing approximately $800 million worth of multifamily investment in Southern California. He also holds controlling interest in several retail businesses.
Mr. Baker was a principal at Auto Insurance Specialists, which was subsequently acquired by Mercury General Corporation. His association with AIS has spanned nearly 42 years. He currently serves as Executive Vice President under Mercury’s ownership.
